The Early Years

The Hughes Family, Thailand
Bill and Julie Hughes and their children have been laboring in Khon Kaen, Thailand with a vision to make disciples, train leaders, and plant churches. In 1991, after ten years of pastoral ministry in the United States, Bill and Julie moved to Thailand with their four children. There, they worked to establish Thai leadership in local churches through training and mentoring. They also developed a team for local and regional evangelism outreach.

In 1998, the Hughes’ moved to the northeast region where they founded the River of Life Church planting ministry. Bill and Julie’s vision is to train Thai leaders and help them plant churches all throughout the Northeast and beyond.
